Land of
Enchantment Fishing Adventures
Frank Vilorio, Professional Fishing Guide

Frank Vilorio founded Land of
Enchantment Fishing Adventures at Elephant Butte New Mexico in
1994. “The Lake was in my back yard so I took advantage of it
and fished it regularly as a kid”. As I grew older I fell more
in love with fishing, it became my passion. Stripers were
introduced to the 36,000 acre Lake in 1972. With time the
fishing took off. White Bass fishing was bountiful. “In 1989 I
had a 14 ft. Aluminum fishing boat with a 30 hp motor, I took a
friend of mine fishing who is a doctor and he had the time of
his life pulling in White Bass”. He had never experienced
fishing. That motivated me to get involved taking people
fishing. With time I learned the Lake and how to catch and keep
bait alive. I learned how to target areas in reference to the
species of fish I wanted to catch. Time and patience showed me
what worked.
In 1994 I bought my first Center
Console Fishing Boat and applied for my guide license and
started fishing professionally. I spend over 280 days a year on
the water. My skills are “top notch” now. I run a 2350
Fishmaster Center console fishing boat to catch Stripers, White
Bass, Walleye and other species. My passion has been working
with kids all ages, even the old ones 70-80 years old. Fishing
has no age limit.
On the off season, I book and take
clients to Brazil (Amazon) for Peacock Bass fishing, Mexico for
Black Bass fishing, Alaska for Salmon and Halibut (time
permitting). I participate in outdoor expo conventions, state
wide banquets to Ducks Unlimited, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation,
Safari Club International, National Rifle Association and such
organizations. I have been featured in Hunting and Fishing in
the Southwest, New Mexico’s Sportsman’s News and local
newspapers. My sponsors include Pure Fishing, Minn-Kota Trolling
Motors, Owner Hooks, Shakespeare and Driftmaster Rod Holders. My
website is

is frankvilorio@sbcglobal.net. I am a member of Striped Bass
Association. |
